You know winter is fast approaching when the sun is setting sooner and the weather drops quicker than a month ago. But, despite the wind and the cool, breezy air, we had a blast. Dana and her family were such great people to work with. They were very easygoing and willing to do a few cute poses for me. We did a ton of walking around the park, so we were able to enjoy a bit of the scenery as well. I especially had a great time talking to their 3-year old daughter and allowing her to express her beautiful self. At first, she was a bit shy, but after a few minutes, we were best friends! Ainsley would dance around the park, posed when I told her to, and was such a great little model! What a cool way to end a weekend!

Twins: Amina + Omar
I met the twins a couple of years ago when they were only 6 months old. They were so adorable and already have their very own personalities. Omar, who was a minute older than his sister, Amina, has always been the energetic and talkative one out of the two. His energy is endless and his chatter is boundless. I wonder how their parents can keep up with his energy and chatter. Amina, who is a bit more gentle and sweeter than her older brother, has shown more of her shy side during the photo session. Even if she was running away from the camera, I was able to capture her beautiful self. Even though the day was rather cold and windy, they did an amazing job and I could not have been happier. It was such a great experience to be able to capture the twins near their home town.
6 Month: Tate
Tate is back for his 6 month photo session and what a difference 6 months make. He has grown up so much already. And he surely does look even more handsome than when I met him as a newborn. Following along the “fishing theme,” I decided to put him in out into the sea to catch the little fishes. Well, not literally, of course. He was already starting to show his curious side, touching the props throughout the session. Isn’t he such a cute fisherman?
One Year Cake Smash: Jordan
When parents say toddlers are active, they are not kidding. Jordan had recently turned one and his parents wanted to do a cake smash session. Aside from being the cute toddler that he is, Jordan would not sit or stand still for more than 2 seconds. He was constantly moving and was full of energy. And that made my job as photographer even more invigorating and that is including the free exercise from running around and chasing a toddler throughout the session. It was great and my hard work and sweat were well worth it.
